Apple Is A Game Changer For Augmented Reality

One of Apple’s new announcements has tech experts excited for augmented reality.

Furthermore, one chief executive calls Apple’s new operating system a “game-changer.”

The new operating system for the company’s iPhone and iPad produces is called the iOS 11.  Apple unveiled it at its Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday.

In addition, the system introduces ARKit, a new framework for developers to more easily build apps that use augmented reality.   Most important, this is the technology that allows devices to display computer-generated images over the real world.

“By blending digital objects and information with the environment around you, augmented reality takes apps beyond the screen.  This frees them to interact with the real world in entirely new ways.”
